Current Population of India in 2012 | 1,220,200,000 (1.22 billion) |
Total Male Population in India | 628,800,000 (628.8 million) |
Total Female Population in India | 591,400,000 (591.4 million) |
Sex Ratio | 940 females per 1,000 males |
Age structure | |
0 to 25 years | 50% of India's current population |
Currently, there are about 51 births in India in a minute. | |
India's Population in 2011 | 1.21 billion |
India's Population in 2001 | 1.02 billion |
Population of India in 1947 | 350 million Current Population of India - India, with 1,220,200,000 (1.22 billion) people is the second most populous country in the world, while China is on the top with over 1,350,044,605 (1.35 billion) people. The figures show that India represents almost 17.31% of the world's population, which means one out of six people on this planet live in India. Although, the crown of the world's most populous country is on China's head for decades, India is all set to take the numero uno position by 2030. With the population growth rate at 1.58%, India is predicted to have more than 1.53 billion people by the end of 2030. There are many reasons for growing population in India .Most important reasons are poverty, illiteracy, high fertility rate ,decline in death rate and not such serious planning to control the population by the government. All political parties are silence about it. Only they are interested about dirty politics and corrupted politics .They are also too much interested about their vote bank policy. They are totally blind about growth of population and real development of India. India needs to control the growth of population as urgent as possible. It is very necessary to control the population for real development in India. China's 'One Child Policy' in 1978, has brought tremendous results for the latter. The policy claims to have prevented between 250 and 300 million births from 1978 to 2000 and 400 million births from 1979 to 2010.Control the growth of population and save India. |

POPULATION IN INDIA 2012
The cars billionaires drive
If you said all billionaires drive around in luxury cars, eat your words. While Mukesh Ambani’s Maybach 62 costs Rs 5.25 crore, Ikea founder Ingvard Kamprad has been driving a 1993 model Volvo 240 which is currently worth about $1500 (Rs. 83160)
Reliance India Chairman Mukesh Ambani with a net worth of $22.3 billion is the world's richest Indian in the Forbes list. He drives one of the most luxurious cars, a Maybach 62 along with a Mercedes S Class and a Mercedes SL500. The Maybach is worth a whopping INR 5 crores.
Industrialist Anil Ambani drives a car that suits his personality, a Lamborghini Gallardo. The Gallardo accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.1 seconds and on to a top speed of 325 km/h. Its V10 engine offers 500 hp and 376 lbs-ft of torque.
No, Ratan Tata doesn’t drive a Tata Nano. He uses a Mercedes S Class instead. His fleet also includes a Ferrari California, a Maserati Quattroporte, a Cadillac XLR and a Chrysler Sebring.
Liquor baron Vijay Mallya is famous for his passion for vintage cars. However, among his daily drivers is the pricey Maybach 62.

ANNA AND KEJRIWAL: ARE YOU DEAF AND DUMB
India is a secular and democratic country. Here many caste and communities live together from many centuries. we are proud of our communal harmony. India is the great. we love our India. but communal politics do not like communal harmony because it does not suit them. In India there are many political parties like Congress,BJP, Left front and some others regional parties., BIP, ,Shivsena and others some fundamentalist organisation like RSS, Bajrang are directly involved in communal politics. others political parities like Congress,CPM and others some political parties are not directly involved in communal politics but no serious activities against communal politics. it is very unfortunate and a great challenged to us that communal feeling and activities are increasing day by day in India.
India is one of the poorest countries in the world. The POVERTY in India isn't just psycological poverty. The poverty in India isn't just emotional poverty. The poverty in India isn't just social poverty. The poverty in India isn't just religious and cultural poverty. The poverty in India is an absolute poverty. The poverty in India involves poverty in every aspect of life.India is a country with many problems. many peoples are living here below poverty line (BPL), problems with health, education, pure drinking water ,unemployment are the major and others many problems. Maoist and others terrorist groups activities are increasing recently in India.but political parties are not interested about the problems and they are really blind about it ! what they do here? only want power and corruption any way are the main criteria of our great politics in India! most of politics would like it. nothing can be expected from them. what they can do for our country ! they always trying to spread propaganda and confusion among the peoples only for their interest. they are not interest about public interest.they always work only for their interest.
India is very poor in terms of education, in terms of economic improvement, infrastructure, health care, etc. Here are some of the problems facing India today. In today's India, there is nothing but What we see dirty politics, corruption and Communal . politics by our great politics and Indian National party especially communal politics by BJP, RSS and others. What a magic!
India against corruption! Its really good for India. Recently we see the movements against corruption by Anna and Kejriwal. Well for India and also peoples of India! But CORRUPTION free society are .myth or reality?
communal politics are the great problems and challenged for Indian democracy and secularism. We can easily see the result of communal politics.
Many communal riots had been launched in India and many innocent common Muslims have been killed regularly. Many Mosquitoes have been destroyed here by BJP and RSS ,communal party in India.
The 2002 riots in Gujarat and 2012 riots in Assam are very pathetic and unfortunate.
The2002 Gujarat riots: Massacre in which over 2000 Muslim men, women and children were killed by organized mobs of the Hindu right wing under the protection of the Chief Minister (CM) of the Indian State of Gujarat, Narendra modi . Over 100,000 Muslims were displaced from their homes as a result of this pogrom. The attacks, massacres, rapes and displacement were extensively covered in the international media. Scathing reports from Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International as well as the Indian human rights organizations pointed out that the massacres and gang-rapes were coordinated, organized, and sanctioned
The AIMMM takes note of Janvikas report which says that out of the 200,000 Muslims displaced during the 2002 pogroms, 16,000 are still languishing in 83 refugee camps across the state. This is a matter of shame for the state of Gujarat and Central government. The AIMMM sincerely believes that the scars of 2002 will never be healed unless and until the state government and its head show remorse, apologise for their acts of omission and commission, make good the losses suffered by Muslims during those pogroms and make it possible for them to move back to their homes, lands and businesses in dignity. Unless and until this takes place, any talk of MODI: becoming prime minister of India is a cruel joke which will lower the status and dignity of India in the eyes of the international community.
We feel very sad about the present situation about the riots in ASSAM, , India. Many peoples are suffering a lot due to unsafe and their life are under in danger. specially minorities Muslims are mostly affected.
the government says the violence, in which 75 people have been killed and more than 400,000 displaced, most of them was Muslims.
But what we see that our great social worker Anna and Kejriwal are silence about communal riots and communal politics. They become deaf and dumb about it. It is very strange! Are they really love INDIA AND SECULAR DEMOCRACY and Indian peoples?
Why Anna and Kejriwal are not interested to do any movements against communal forces and Hindutva Fascism ?What is secret behind it?
HUNGRY CHILDREN
So long as the millions live in hunger and ignorance, I hold every man a traitor who, having been educated at their expense, pays not the least heed to them. Swami Vivekananda
India has among the highest numbers of hungry children in the world-nearly double that of sub-Saharan Africa. Even Ethiopia is placed ahead of India (94th) in the Global Hunger Index 2007 of 118 countries by the International Food Policy Research Institute. The index looks at the progress by countries on three indicators for two UN millennium goal targets for 2015: the proportion of calorie-deficient people, child malnutrition and child mortality. Most of these children belong to poor families of marginalized sections of society like dalits and SC/STs.Most are agricultural labourers, donot own any land, have no regular livelihood and little access to food and health programmes.
According to the National Family Health Survey III 46% of our children are underweight because their mothers are also largely undernourished, 19% wasted or too thin for height and 38% have stunted growth. Around 79% of those under the age of three are anaemic. All these only raise the risk of developing fatal diseases and infection. However hunger finds no mention in the national health policy. There is lot of focus on childhood diseases like diarrhea and polio.
According to experts the immediate need is put hunger back on the health agenda. The ICDS is not adequately monitored and is thinly spread. An improved ICDS, the rural employment guarantee scheme and better access to the public distribution system will do a great deal in reducing hunger.
There are also calls for introducing a Right to Food by many experts. The way children are forced to work in order to eat one should aspire for food security though the goal of nutrition security would be more appropriate. The mid-day meal scheme has helped but it should have been linked less with the schooling system and more with the hunger pattern.

M.S. Golwalkar: Conceptualizing Hindutva Fascism
by Ram Puniyani Beginning this twenty Fourth February, RSS combine has undertaken programs in different parts of the country to celebrate the centenary year of RSS second Sarsnghchalak (supreme dictator), Madhav Sadashiv Golwalkar, known in Sangh circles as Shri Guruji. What are going to be the implications of this celebration? To answer this, we will have to delve into the work of Golwlakar, who penned a small book, 'We or our Nationhood Defined' (We…), which gives an outline of his ideology and later his articles were published as a compilation, 'Bunch of Thoughts'. In both these books and also in various other outpourings of his, he denigrates democracy and pluralism on one hand and upholds fascist concept of nationhood and sectarian version of culture on the other. His writing is most intimidating to the minorities in particular. He was the chief of RSS for 33 long years and was instrumental in giving RSS a direction, which assumed menacing proportions in times to come, and strengthening the foundations of the 'hate minorities' ideology resulting in the consequent waves of violence, undermining the democratic norms in the society. He can also be 'credited' with giving the sharp formulations which laid the ideological foundation of different carnages in the country. Golwalkar praises Lord Manu as the greatest law giver mankind ever had. It was the same law giver Manu's book, which was burnt by Dr. Ambedkar in his pursuit of getting justice for the dalits. In current times, Golwalkars' successor also demanded a throwing away of Indian constitution, to be replaced by the one which is based on Hindu holy books, implying Manusmriti, of course. His formulations of Hindutva Fascism are so blatant that even his followers, the RSS combine, is running for cover and claiming that this book, having a naked hatred for minorities and eulogies for the likes of Hitler, We…, was not written by him. They avoid owning these ideas. But one knows that this book *was* penned by him. In an affidavit submitted to the charity commissioner, Rajendra Singh, a later Sarsanghchalak pleaded, "With a view to give a scientific base to propagate the idea-India being historically from time immemorial a Hindu nation-the late Shri M.S. Golwalkar had written a book entitled 'We or Our Nationhood defined', which was published in 1938." (Quoted in Islam, Undoing India: The RSS way) J.A. Curran in his classic study, RSS: Militant Hinduism in India Politics- A study of RSS: points out "The genuine ideology of Sangh is based upon principles formulated by its founder, Dr. Hedgewar. These principles have been consolidated and amplified by the present leader (i.e. Golwalkar) in a small book called "We or our nationhood defined". It is a basic primer in the indoctrination of Sangh volunteers… (Curran 1979, p.39). Since its quotations have been brought to the notice of people, RSS publishing houses have stopped republishing this book. What does Golwalkar say in this book? In this book he rejects the notions of Indian nationhood, India as a Nation in the making. He rejects the idea that all the citizens will be equal. He goes on to harp the notions of nationhood borrowed from Hitler's Nazi movement. He rejects that India is a secular nation and posits that it is a Hindu Rashtra. He rejects the territorial-political concept of nationhood and puts forward the concept of cultural nationalism, which was the foundation of Nazi ideology. His admiration of Hitler's ideology and politics is the running thread of the book and he takes inspiration from the massive holocaust which decimated millions of people in Germany. He uses this as a shield to propagate his political ideology. It is this ideology which formed the base of communal common sense amongst a section of the population. "German national pride has now become the topic of the day. To keep up purity of the nation and its culture, Germany shocked the world by her purging the country of the Semitic races, the Jews. National pride at its highest has been manifested here. Germany has also shown how well-nigh impossible it is for races and cultures having differences going to the root, to be assimilated into a united whole, a good lesson for us in Hindustan to learn and profit by." (We…, 1938, p.37) In the Sangh circles this book is regarded as their Gita. The implications for Indian minorities are presented here in a forthright manner. Today the swayamsevaks brought up on this Gita, do believe in all this but the language of expression is being made more polished so that the poison is coated with honey and administered with ease. Golwalkar goes on to assert, "From the standpoint sanctioned by the experience of shrewd nations, the non-Hindu people in Hindustan must either adopt the Hindu culture and language, must learn to respect and revere Hindu religion, must entertain no idea but the glorification of Hindu nation i.e. they must not only give up their attitude of intolerance and ingratitude towards this land and its age long traditions, but must also cultivate the positive attitude of love and devotion instead; in one word, they must cease to be foreigners or may stay in the country wholly subordinated to the Hindu nation, claiming nothing, deserving no privileges, for less any preferential treatment, not even the citizen's rights." (Ibid p.52). When the Hindutva politics came up in the late 1980s, in the beginning an unsuspecting observer could not comprehend from where has the concept of Hindu nation come up suddenly, why such an intense hatred for minorities, a glance at We… and one becomes clear that those fed on this ideology cannot but be what they are, cannot do anything else than what they did and have been doing since 1990, the Babri demolition, the anti minority violence and an open violation of democratic ethos of the country. These ideas were translated into the stories of atrocities of Muslim kings, the myth of Hindus owning this land from times immemorial and a lot of such make believe concoction. Irrespective of the fact the freedom movement rejected this ideology and its formulations, it was kept alive through the ideological indoctrination work in the RSS shakhas going on ceaselessly. Golwalkar was also faced with some of the 'naive' swaymasevaks wishing to participate in the national movement, more so after the massive Quit India movement was launched. That time Golwalkar was the RSS chief and he dissuaded the people from participating in the movement, and some of them who participated did it in their personal capacity, some of them now claim that they also participated. (e.g. Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who was onlooker in the anti British movement, was arrested but wriggled out of the jail and later claimed to have participated in the movement.) As matter of fact Golwalkar was very contemptuous towards the anti British movement. There is no mention of presence of RSS in the anti British movement even in most of the sympathetic accounts written about it. Even Nanaji Deshmukh, the foremost leaders of RSS puts this question, why did RSS not take part in the liberation struggle as an organization? (Deshmukh, Victim of Slander, Vision Books, 1979, p.70) Since Golwalkar propounded religion based nationalism, there was no place for anti British stance. "The theories of territorial nationalism and of common danger, which formed the basis of our concept of nation, had deprived us of the positive and inspiring content of our real Hindu Nationhood and made many of the 'freedom movements' virtually anti-British movements. Anti Britishism was equated with patriotism and nationalism. This reactionary view has had disastrous effects upon the entire course of freedom movement…" (Bunch of thoughts, 1996, p.138). In a frank defense of British colonialist he reminds the people of RSS pledge, "We should remember that in our pledge we have talked of freedom of the country through defending religion and culture. There is no mention of departure of British in that." (Shri Guruji Samgra Darshan, Vol 4, p. 2) With allies like this British could merrily pursue their policy of divide and rule! No wonder British never repressed RSS. Also the collusion between Religion based nationalism and colonialism can be understood from such statements. Later the World saw that in tune with this pro imperialist ideology, Golwalkar was to support the US aggression on Vietnam and his successor Sudarshan defended the US aggression against Iraq. The murder of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi by a Hindutva follower Nathuram Godse not only shocked the whole nation; it led RSS followers to celebrate this event by distributing sweets. While RSS followers were celebrating, and the links of Godse with RSS became apparent, RSS was banned and Golwalkar was arrested. They denied that RSS had any links with Godse. At that time it was easy to claim so as RSS had no written constitution and membership lists, enrollment register etc. Godse was RSS Pracharak and later he joined Hindu Mahasabha and was editing a newspaper, Agrani (leader), the subtitle of the paper was Hindu Rashtra. In the court he denied any links with RSS. Later his brother Gopal Godse, who was also an accomplice in the murder, in an interview given to Times of India (25 Jan 98) stated that his brother Nathuram spoke a deliberate lie in the court, "The appeasement policy followed by him (Gandhi) and imposed on all Congress governments' encouraged the Muslim separatist tendencies that eventually created Pakistan…Technically and theoretically he (Nathuram) was a member (of RSS), but he stopped workings for it later. His statement in the court that he had left the RSS was to protect the RSS workers who would be imprisoned following the murder. On the understanding that they (RSS workers) would benefit from his dissociating himself from the RSS, he gladly did it." In the wake of the murder of Gandhi, RSS was banned and Golwalkar was jailed, from where he wrote a letter to the Government of India offering to cooperate with the government in 'dealing with the menace of Communism' in return for being released from the jail. Incidentally it was also the period when US was on the witch hunt of communists world over. Today, the global USagenda of demonization of Islam, and Muslims world over matches with the RSS agenda, coincidence again? Is this running parallel in the matching agenda US and RSS policies a mere coincidence? For him the notion of Hindu Rashtra remained supreme and he could never reconcile to the secular values of Indian constitution. Time and over again he kept on harping on how *UnBharat* the constitution is and how Manu's rules are more desirable and profound one's. The partition of India and the consequent tragedy was registered through the Hindutva eyes, "Even to this day there are many who say, 'now there is no Muslim problem at all. All those riotous elements who supported Pakistan have gone away once for all. The remaining Muslims are devoted to our country. After all they have no other place to go and they are all bound to remain loyal…It would be suicidal to delude ourselves into believing that they have turned patriot overnight after the creation of Pakistan. On the contrary, Muslim menace has increased a hundredfold by the creation of Pakistan, which has become a springboard for all their future aggressive designs on our country." (Bunch of Thoughts, Bangalore, 1996, p. 177-78) The way to look at Indian communities as Hindus and Muslims as uniform monoliths continues to be exhibited all through. Further he also goes on to label Muslims, Christians and Communists as internal threats to Hindu nation. And this is the 'ideological fodder ' of RSS shakhas and its practical unfoldment is visible in the regular occurrence of attacks against Muslims and Christians. With collapse of Soviet Union, the venom against communists has been given a different turn. And in the third category secularist have also been added up as a threat to Hindu nation. It was Golwalkar again under whose stewardship the RSS gave birth to other organizations to play the divisive role in different arenas of social and political life. He was instrumental in helping bring up Bharatiya Jansangh, Akhil Bhartiya Vidayarthi Parishad, Bharatiya Majdoor Sangh, Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram and Vishwa Hindu Parishad, amongst others. The infiltration of RSS cadres in different wings of state apparatus; army, police, bureaucracy, judiciary, education and media was another move initiated by Golwalkar, the effects of which are visible prominently from last two decades. While secular democratic elements, activists have a long road ahead, we need to take care that in the already vitiated atmosphere, the communal divide is not accentuated further by this move of RSS and we put forward the values of humane plural and democratic society and dispel the ideologies which have been playing a very divisive role in the society.
Challenge Hindutva and their chums from the Muslim Right, Christian Right etc.! Dont remain Deaf and Dumb to Communal politics
South Asia Citizens Web > Communalism RepositoryHow much does a poor Parsi earn? Rs 90,000 a month!
Even if you earn close to Rs 90,000 a month and you’re a Parsi, you’re still poor! A Times of India article Poor Parsi redefined: One who earns upto Rs 90,000/m reports that the Bombay Parsi Punchayet (BPP) recently told the High Court that they have reworked the definition of a ‘poor Parsi’ as one who earns lesser than or Rs 90,000 a month.
According to the report, anyone who earns more than that amount is not eligible for a community apartment that can be bought at subsidised rates.
The story was given a front-page space on Times of India, probably because inclusion of the word poor in the Punchayet’s setting of a baseline to add coherence to the process of allotting apartments.
The article caustically notes, “Incidentally, the Planning Commission of India had pegged the minimum sustenance level required for a poor person in an urban area at Rs 29 a day.”
The redefinition of the ‘poor Parsi’ category came as a response to a petition filed by one Rohinton Taraporewala (65), resident of Danahu, who challenged the BPP’s refusal to allot him a subsidised apartment in Panthaki Baug in Andheri and moved court.
To which, Dinshaw Mehta, president of BPP filed an affidavit saying “All applicants with incomes exceeding Rs 90,000 per month or with assets of more than Rs 25 lakh were to be eliminated.”
It was reportedly found that Taraporewala had property worth Rs 2.5 to 3 crore and hence was way off the benchmark of a ‘poor Parsi’. Initially, a ‘poor’ Parsi used to be one who earned less than or upto Rs 50,000 a month.
The reason behind Taraporewala’s fussing over a ‘subsidised flat’ when he already has property worth Rs 3 crore, can be figured out in the TOI article’s closing comment. “The affidavit states that the BPP flats at Panthaki Baug, each of which is between 732 sq ft and 760 sq ft, will cost between Rs 17.56 lakh and Rs 20.52 lakh depending on their size and location. The current market value of each is approximately Rs 80 lakh. The flats are being sold at prices prevailing in 2001 and cost one-fourth of their market value today.”
Given Mumbai real estate rates, anyone would give it a fight!

WANT PURE DRINKING WATER NOT PEPSI
India is the great country but need pure drinking water specially in rural area where more than 70% peoples live. they are suffering mostly water born diseases like diarrhea ,typhoid , cholera etc. this is most biggest problems in our country. It is very unfortunate and shame to us that this problems even still in our country. Our political leaders are not interested about it. They are very much interested about their interest especially corruption and earn money for them only and create artificial problems. Our Government should do proper step for supply pure drinking water as priority job. Hope for better services for pure drinking water for peoples of India.India especially rural India need pure drinking water not coke ,pepsi and others soft drink.
India’s large and growing population is putting severe strain on the country’s natural resources.
Most water sources are contaminated by sewage and agricultural runoff. The World Bank
estimates that 21% of communicable diseases in India are related to unsafe water. In India,
diarrhea alone causes more than 1,600 deaths daily. Proven water treatment systems today
are often too complex and do not represent sustainable, safe treatment solutions.
India faces serious problems providing clean drinking water. The problem spans both the
quality of the water as well as the quantity. The quality is affected by silt, sediment, bacteria,
viruses, and leaching arsenic. Industrialization and updated farming practices have added other
organic and inorganic contaminants to water sources. The growing scarcity of clean, fresh (not
saline) water has increased the competition for these resources and the overuse of
groundwater is making the problem worse.

INDIA AND SECULAR DEMOCRACY
Asghar Ali Engineer
Till yesterday many were saying that communal temperature has come down in the country and some even questioned wisdom of passing the Communal Violence and Targeted Violence Bill by the Parliament. People thought perhaps Gujarat riots have given enough shock to the country and now no major riots shall take place. And now we are not only witnessing series of riots in U.P. but also very major Gujarat like riot in Assam and now suddenly people from North East are being targeted in Southern states.
When Communal and Targeted Violence Bill was being debated in National Integration Council Mr. Sharad Yadav, the leader of Jana Dal United and an important ally of BJP-led NDA attacked the Bill as irrelevant as communal riots are not taking place in this country any more and this Bill will bring two laws – one for Hindus and another for Muslims (he was clearly towing BJP line) as under Moghul rule.
Not only the reference to Mogul rule was totally unjustified (this also shows how secular are the so called secular leaders of secular parties owing allegiance to R.M. Lohia) but also maintaining that there were no riots taking place in India. It was totally misleading statement. When Mr. Sharad Yadav was saying this in the National integration Council, number of riots had taken place in Rajasthan in Sarada, Mangalthana and Gopalgarh. In Gopalgarh 10 Meo Muslims were shot dead in cold blood inside a mosque by the Rajasthan police.
I took on Sharad Yadav and said either you do not read newspapers or deliberately ignoring several riots which have already taken place in last few months. And now what Yadavji will say about explosion of Assam and besides Bengali Muslims, how North East people are feeling insecure in whole country? Unfortunately the BJP-led NDA so severely attacked the Communal and Targeted Violence Bill that UPA-II seems to have quietly given up placing the Bill in Parliament.
The Congress led UPA had promised to enact this Bill in its 2004 manifesto in view of what had happened in Gujarat in 2002 and this is 2012 i.e. 8 long years and still it is hanging fire its fate is unknown. No one knows whether it will be passed at all. It seems the Govt. may quietly drop it. Had that Bill been passed I do not think riots in Assam would have taken place.
We wait for some major disaster for enactment of concerned law and then wait so long after the disaster that its urgency is lost and then either we pass its diluted version or wait for some other disaster to take place. As far as secularism is concerned the Congress is already on a weak ground and BJP is ever ready to promote it how can we ever hope to have strong secular democratic India?
How integrated and united we are has been shown by what happened in Assam after Gujarat and by threats of attack on North East people in South and other parts of India. Whoever sent these SMS is one question but more important question is why these few thousand SMSes could spread terror among North East Indians? This question is more important than who sent these SMSes.
We have completely exodus weakness to the neighbouring country supposing Pakistanis have done as alleged by the Government of India. The North Eastern people could be easily terrorized because these people are being repeatedly attacked in other parts of India and, if not attacked, seriously discriminated against. A simple SMS can so terrify them that they straight take to trains to Guwahati, a three day journey from their place of work. The exodus started from various destinations – Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Lucknow and several other places.
Why don’t they have confidence in fellow Indians from other parts of India and why they get terrified? In fact we have never treated them as one of us. Because of their different racial features we treat them as aliens. Their women are usually sexual targets in Delhi. Our education system is also to be largely blamed for lack of feeling of national integration in our country. What is use blaming Pakistan for spreading these messages? What have we done to create unity among all people of India?
Caste, religion, language, ethnicity and gender, all these are divisive forces. Our diversity, instead of becoming an asset and an enriching factor, has become our main weakness. Our politicians loose no opportunity to divide us for their votes and irony is every party accuses the other as creating its own vote banks. BJP attacks Congress and Congress the BJP for doing whatever it does for the sake of its vote bank.
Which party does not have its own vote bank, including smaller and regional parties? All calculations are made on the basis of these vote banks. These parties try to address everything on the basis of these vote banks, Dalits, Muslims, Brahmins, Rajputs, Yadavs and so on. Thus election in our country promotes division rather than any feeling of unity of people of India. This is so especially because our electoral system, copies blindly from the British system, is based on first past the pole.
It was okay for the British as they were largely homogenous society and mono-lingual and mono-cultural and hence this system could suit them. India, our leaders should have known, is bewilderingly diverse and hence such a system of first past the pole cannot suit us. Every election we see that winning candidates get 18 to 25 per cent of vote’s caste and still they claim they have won with majority. Such winning percentages are extremely ridiculous.
We have to bring radical reforms in our electoral system by making 51% as minimum for winning the seat. In that case the politicians will have to appeal to all voters rather than a small percentage of voters thus creating vote bank. Come election and vote bank politics start. Behind Assam riots also there is BJP’s vote-bank politics. It is backing Bodos to the hilt to get their votes in coming elections. It is promoting myth of Bangla Deshi infiltrators which is being repeated by BODO leaders to throw Bengali Muslims out of Bodoland territorial Council which also was created by NDA Govt. in 2003.
Same BJP accuses Congress of allowing Bangla Deshi Muslims to come to Assam to create its vote bank. In this accusation and counter-accusation truth is the victim. Fact is that if one takes seriously the figures being mentioned one has to accept as if one sixth of Bangla Desh is already in India. Tripura has more than 900 kms. of boarder with Bangla Desh and yet we hardly hear from Tripura about Bangla Deshis coming to their state and Assam has little more than 250 kms of boarder with Bangla Desh and we hear that thousands are marching into Assam.
Most of the Bengali Muslims now dubbed as Bangla Deshi had come to Assam before partition and when country was one and one could settle anywhere in one country. However, it was during AASU agitation that the issue was pursued with renewed vigour and resulted in Nelli and now it has resulted in Bodo-Muslim conflict. It has created more than 4 hundred thousand refugees – a mind boggling figure.
But all this division is political and result of political rivalry. Even today when politicians have made each of us so identity conscious, there appears to be unity among the common people and inspiring unity at that. Today only there is news that in one of the villages in Uttaranchal where there is no mosque, 800 Muslims said their Eid prayer inside a Gurudwara as outside it was raining heavily a picture in Times of India showed that a sadhu is sitting in the front (like an imam) and Muslims are sitting behind them praying. The very site was so inspiring.
If our leaders do not pursue divisive politics (like the British did) and our education system also inspires unity, people of India would work in unison and our resources would not be destroyed so often in petty conflicts in which one citizen appears to be enemy of another citizen. Some organizations are busy, day and night, creating animosity between people and that is why even petty quarrels between some citizens acquire violent form and in no time politicians would draw mobs onto the street assuming form of communal violence.
If our education system stresses unity of people and our common heritage it would result in wonders. Until my generation there was great appreciation of our shared heritage but subsequent generations have seen nothing but conflict and violence and hence communal violence is increasing day by day. British had followed divisive politics but our politicians (though one should not blame politics per se should not be blamed) have gone far ahead of British in dividing us.
Gandhiji wanted to pursue transformative politics which will transform citizens from within but our power hungry politicians are interested only in power politics which reinforces nothing but status quo and whatever change comes, comes for the worse. This politics does not transform us but freezes us into fixed identities.

CORRUPTION AGAINST CORRUPTION!
New style politics come in India. Do you know Kejriwal ? yes kejriwal come against corruption. India against corruption( IAC). Well this is very good and we do not want corruption. It is the great problems in our country. But how?Do you tell us?
Here we see super drama by kejriwal . Indian politics are corrupted. All political parties are more or less corrupted and it is very true. No one can deny it. Because the total systems are corrupted. Kejriwal are trying popular among the peoples with this politics and his politics also corrupted. I do not belief that Kejriwal alone will do positive for country. He want to be a political leader like others politics. Nothing new here.
Corruption in India like a cancer. Peoples of India are against corruption. Mr Kejriwal are you really against corruption? Do you want some good for peoples of India? Do some positive and effective work for peoples and India. India is vast country and many social injustices are here. Absolute poverty , lack of pure drinking water, problems in health and education and dirty communal politics in India. These are real challenged in India today. Better to go for social work for better result. Please stop cheap politics and do not confused common peoples of India. If you want politics that mean you are a supporter of corruption for your own interest.
It is clear that you have chosen to leave your job for your political ambitions! If tomorrow a bureaucrat of higher rank leaves the job then will you support him as well?
Are you really interested against corruption? If you have sustained evidence against someone why do not approach police, Anti corruption Burea ,CBI or Magistrate? Why you are not interested to do this? Without this you start movements and agitation against corruption. How can you charge some one without inquiry? What is the type of politics?
One question is not clear to us why you gave 2 crores to Anna? What about your NGO report? Your NGO report shows 70% as salaries and aids. Who finance your fasts and air travel ? You are unemployed and you gave 2 crores to Anna. Can you tell us about it?
One another question is very surprise to us.that some political parties and organisations come first to support you. what is the secret about it? Are those political parties and organisations really want corruption free India? Are you and your supporters really against corruption? but the reality are different and Indian politics are totally corrupted . You want to introduce himself as a political leader which will be definitely emerged in corruption. Corruption against corruption!

ABSOLUTE POVERTY
India is one of the poorest countries in the world. The poverty in India isn't just psycological poverty. The poverty in India isn't just emotional poverty. The poverty in India isn't just social poverty. The poverty in India isn't just religious and cultural poverty. The poverty in India is an absolute poverty. The poverty in India involves poverty in every aspect of life.
India is a very poor country and we all know that. However, not so many of us knew how extreme the poverty level was in India. Now it is very clear how extreme the poverty level is in India today. Now it is very clear how poor some Indians are. Now it is very clear how people continue to die from absolute poverty and hunger in India despite numerous efforts to help fight poverty in the world.
A new multidimensional poverty Index shows that India is far poorer than Africa in both intensity and in number.
The Multidimensional Poverty Index developed by Oxford University (which will appear in the upcoming UNDP human development report) shows that India is far poorer than Africa not just in number but also in intensity.
The new poverty measure shows that 8 states out of the 29 states in India have more poor people than 26 poorest African countries combined.
The Multidimensional poverty index views poverty from several different angles instead of just GDP figures.
India like any other developing country is crippled by so many problems. For example, India's population growth rate is increasing by the day putting pressure on the limited resources and leaving many Indians in absolute poverty.
India is very poor in terms of education, in terms of economic improvement, infrastructure, health care, etc. Here are some of the problems facing India today. In today's India, there is nothing but:
What we see dirty politics, corruption and communal politics by our great politics and Indian National party especially communal politics by BJP, RSS and others. What a magic!
YOU HAVE TO DIE : REAL FACE OF BJP, INDIA

NEEDS ONLY FOOD!
INDIA NEEDS FOOD ONLY!
India is the great and we love our country,we love all peoples in our country. but it very unfortunate and very shame to us that many peoples in India are below poverty level .they are living with very difficulty and suffering so many problems to their daily living life like food, health, sanitation , education ,hygine and inadequate accommodation etc
.India is the only country in the South Asia region that is on its way to achieve the first Millennium Development Goal (MDG) to halve the number of people living in extreme poverty by 2015.
Since its independence, the issue of poverty within India has remained a prevalent concern. As of 2010, more than 37% of India's population of 1.35 billion still lives below the poverty line. More than 22% of the entire rural population and 15% of the urban population of India exists in this difficult physical and financial predicament.
Govt study fixes poverty line at Rs 66 for cities and Rs 35 for villages.
Here is a new set of official statistics that can escalate the politically contentious debate on what constitutes the poverty line.
If the average monthly consumption expenditure is taken as the benchmark of what an individual needs to survive, the poverty line would be Rs 66.10 for urban areas and Rs 35.10 for rural regions, while about 65% of the population will be below this cutoff.
It is very strange !Shame for India!
